Review Guide & Policy

These ratings are made by me and are my own opinion based on the books that I like to read. All my reviews are spoiler-free unless otherwise stated. Keep in mind that everyone has different opinions, so just because I rated a book lower doesn't mean the book was bad nor was the author bad at writing. It probably just wasn't my style but that doesn't mean it isn't someone else's. For the most part, my book reviews will probably be a 3 or above. 

If you would like me to review a book for you, please state the details as well as special requests in the email, drachelw.designs@gmail.com, or in the Contact Me form here. *I am currently closed to requests.* I do prefer books in physical form, but it is okay if they are in a digital format. I will review it like any other book, with my honest opinion. I like reading YA books in the contemporary, fantasy, and mystery categories; I'll also occasionally read middle grade novels that catch my eye. If I am not interested in reviewing your book, I may not respond to your email. It will take me at most five days to get back to you and I will provide more details in the email. Please note that I do have the right to deny any review requests. 

**My ratings are on a 5 star scale BUT, my favorite ones will be marked with a heart (♡). I also use half stars in my ratings!**

★★★★★ (5) ♡- It was absolute perfection and one of the best books ever! I'd love to own a copy of it on my shelf so I can read it over and over again. I'm probably going to go around recommending it to everyone.

★★★★★ (5)- It was an awesome book; I loved it and would encourage many others to read it. I would definitely read it again.

★★★★☆ (4)- It was a great book but maybe one or two flaws in it. I like it and I'll recommend it. I would read it again.

★★★☆☆ (3)- It was a good book. I might recommend it, depending on the person.

★★☆☆☆ (2)- The book didn't interest me and I don't plan to read it again. 

★☆☆☆☆ (1)- Didn't fit my taste at all.
