Title: November 9

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?
On November 9th a couple years ago, Fallon was trapped in a burning building, suffering burns herself. This was the end of her acting career before it even took off.
When you find love, you take it. You grab it with both hands and you do everything in your power not to let it go. You can’t just walk away from it and expect it to linger until you’re ready for it.
But November 9th will have another meaning soon. It's the day Fallon met Ben when he defends her against her father. But they won't be together for long because Fallon is moving to New York in hopes of pursuing her dreams.
You can’t leave yet. I’m not finished falling in love with you.
So they come up with a plan. Every year they will meet on November 9th with no contact in between. By doing so, it's supposed to see if they're right for each other. But when it all comes together year after year, things aren't always what they seem.
It took four years for me to fall in love with him. It only took four pages to stop.
Star Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5)
OMG CoHo is amazing! I cried so much reading this book like all the raw emotions were just pouring out of me.
Characters from Ugly Love also cameoed in the book and I thought that was cute. But Fallon and Ben together, I just hoped they would get the happy ending they all deserve. No more heartbreaks, secrets, and broken promises, just another happy ending.
Overall, November 9 is another great book by CoHo. Each time, there's a tragic past but the happy endings in the end, I live for those.
