Ruthless. Meticulous. Arrogant.

Dante Russo thrives on control, both personally and professionally.

The billionaire CEO never planned to marry—

until the threat of blackmail forces him into an engagement with a woman he barely knows.

Vivian Lau, jewelry heiress and daughter of his newest enemy.

It doesn’t matter how beautiful or charming she is. He'll do everything in his power to destroy the evidence and their betrothal.

There’s only one problem: now that he has her...he can't bring himself to let her go.

***

Elegant. Ambitious. Well-mannered.

Vivian Lau is the perfect daughter and her family’s ticket into the highest echelons of high society.

Marrying a blue-blooded Russo means opening doors that would otherwise remain closed to her new-money family.

While the rude, elusive Dante isn't her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.

Craving his touch was never part of the plan.

Neither was the worst thing she could possibly do: fall in love with her future husband.

My Thoughts

Vivian Lau's marriage to Dante Russo will finally secure the Lau family name as the top of the top of New York's high society. The Russo family's legacy is undeniable so when Vivian's father gets the chance to orchestrate the marriage, Vivian obliges likes the perfect daughter she is.

You and me, sweetheart. That’s the destination. And I’m willing to take as many steps as I need to get there.

Dante has never been much interested in women but when Vivian suddenly appears in his life, everything changes. Though he claims to have zero attachment to her, things start to change as they approach their wedding day.

How does he look at me?” Janis smiled. “Like he never wants to look away.

Will the ultimate betrayal stand in way of their marriage or will they finally find their happy ever after together?

Love wasn’t always about the big moments. More often, it was tucked in the small moments connecting the major ones.

Star Rating: ★★★★★ (5) ♡

I am actually the BIGGEST fan of Ana Huang so I just knew I had to read her latest series. I've actually read this book multiple times I just never wrote up a review so here I am doing so.

Huang's ability to craft such a compelling romance never fails to impress me. I love the chemistry between Vivian and Dante, the push and pull almost as if it's enemies-to-lovers. Not to mention, Vivian's friends group also sounds so supportive and kind. I would love the opportunity to get join them in all their adventures.

Overall, King of Wrath was absolutely amazing. I know it was cliche but what can I say, Ana Huang did it well. It is one of my favorite if not my favorite in the Kings of Sin series. Can't wait to read the other books in the series (there's six more)!
