My Thoughts

Alessandra has stood by her husband Dominic from when he had nothing to now where everything is his. Somewhere along the way, they distance from each other and Dominic becomes unrecognizable to Alessandra.

I broke her heart once, and I’d let her break my heart a thousand times in return if it meant that one day she found her way back to me.

When Dominic forgets about their tenth wedding anniversary, Alessandra decides she has enough. She sets out on her own and decides to find her purpose in the world, not wanting to play trophy wife anymore. With Alessandra slipping from his grasps, Dominic will do anything to fight for their love and their marriage.

You’re it for me. In every iteration of every life. Things may have changed since we got married, but you and me? We were always meant for forever.

I really loved this second chance romance between Alessandra and Dominic as I think love takes a lot of courage. There's so much courage in loving someone and it was brave of Alessandra to do so again when Dominic finally reaches out.

Another part of the book I absolutely loved was the flashbacks of their past scattered throughout. It brought me so much joy to see their chemistry before everything fell apart and how they pieced themselves back together after.

Overall, King of Greed was another excellent edition to the series. I originally didn't think I would love a second chance romance but I was proven wrong. I love how Alessandra made Dominic prove himself first, like the queen she is.
