But when her mom’s new fiancé suddenly shows up at the cemetery for this year’s memorial for her dad, she furiously walks out, breaking the pagpag superstition. My Top Books Read In 2025

It's crazy how fast this year has gone by. Reflecting back, it's been five years since COVID-19, I've closed a chapter of my life and opened a new one, I've attended three schools now. Anyways, final post! Overall, my reading has been quite enjoyable. My goal for 2026 is to continue to read purely for myself. It's definitely harder to these days but I'm still going to try. These are a few books I would recommend from my reading this year and once again, happy reading and happy New Year! 1. The Summer I Turned Pretty Series by Jenny Han. Technically I did say in my  My Top Books Read In 2022 list that this book was one of the best. And do I still stand by it? Of course. The final series on Amazon Prime came out this summer so you knew I reread the books in preparation for the season finale. Once again, Jenny Han is one of my comfort authors and I just love her writing!
